So I’ve just experienced my first winter holiday, normally I’d opt for sun, sand and sea, but this year my husband convinced me to try hitting the slopes, and it was…well…different. Although I did come back with tan lines, but they were goggle shaped, and on my face.
Jokes aside – I did have fun and I learnt some lessons along the way... the main one being the chair lifts. Did you know you have to take your skis off the foot rest to enable you to get off the lift at the right time….and not find yourself on the way back down? (Yes, I got stuck).
I looked the part in my big ski coat and salopettes, but there isn’t much use for them now we’re home. Instead I’ve packed them away in my PackMate storage totes. They are so handy for storing away bulky items.
The totes even come complete with a vacuum bag inside to compress the contents, then the stylish storage tote boxes can be neatly hidden under your bed on top of your wardrobe. They will be protected from damp and mould until next season.
